These easy Scottish-style brown sugar shortbread cookies are rich, buttery, and crisp. Use a cookie stamp to make them look super pretty!

Cream brown sugar and butter in a mixing bowl.

Add all-purpose flour and salt and mix to a soft dough.

Divide the dough into 24 portions, roll them into balls, and swirl them in white sugar.

Place 12 balls on one  baking sheet, and the other 12 on a second sheet. Stamp the top of each ball, directly on the baking sheet, with a cookie stamp.
