Sugar cookies with sprinkles are a such joyful treat! They're soft and chewy, and just bursting with sweetness and rainbow colors.

STEP 1 Cream the butter and sugar then add the egg and almond extract. Mix well.

STEP 2 Add the dry ingredients and stir by hand until halfway mixed.

STEP 3 Add the sprinkles to the bowl.

STEP 4 Continue to stir and fold the dough until the flour is just mixed in.

STEP 5 Use a cookie scoop to scoop all of the cookie dough.

STEP 6 Dip the dough scoops in sprinkles or leave plain. Bake 12 to 14 minutes.
